Jakarta (ZONASATU News) – Mantan Ketua KPK Antasari Azhar menjadi penasihat tim advokasi Firman Wijaya yang dilaporkan oleh mantan presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono dengan tuduhan pencemaran nama baik, seperti ditulis ANTARA hari ini (9/2)

Bentuk dukungan Antasari kepada Firman adalah bersedia menjadi penasehat tim advokasi, kata koordinator tim penasihat hukum Firman Wijaya, Boyamin Saiman di Jakarta, Kamis.

Dia mengatakan, Antasari dibutuhkan tim atas keahlian dan pengalaman mantan jaksa senior itu dalam menghadapi tuduhan pencemaran nama baik.

Dia menganggap Antasari pasti mampu membedah unsur-unsur pasal pencemaran nama baik yang diatur KUHP Pasal 310 dan 311 karena Firman Wijaya dinilainya tidak pernah menuduh SBY terlibat korupsi e-KTP.

“Firman Wijaya tidak pernah terucap kalimat menuduh SBY terlibat korupsi eKTP,” kata Boyamin.

“Kami yakin apa yang disampaikan Firman Wijaya terukur dan tidak memenuhi unsur pencemaran nama baik dan Antasari pasti bisa banyak membantu bahwa Firman Wijaya tidak memenuhi unsur pencemaran nama baik sehingga penyelidikan kepolisian dihentikan.”

Puluhan pengacara dengan koordinator Boyamin Saiman akan mendampingi Firman yang dilaporkan SBY.

“Hasil pembicaraan saya dengan Firman Wijaya hari ini, disepakati saya ditunjuk untuk menjadi koordinator kuasa hukum Firman Wijaya dalam menghadapi pelaporan ke Bareskrim Polri dengan tuduhan pencemaran nama baik,” kata Boyamin Saiman.
