BULOG Pastikan Kedatangan Beras Impor Jamin Stabilitas Harga

ZONASATUNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Direktur Utama Perum BULOG Budi Waseso memastikan stabilitas harga beras di pasaran dapat dijaga dengan bertambahnya stok Cadangan Beras Pemerintah yang dikuasai oleh BULOG melalui masuknya beras impor yang baru tiba hari ini.

Hal tersebut disampaikan Budi Waseso saat meninjau pembokaran perdana kedatangan beras impor di Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP) bersama Menteri Perdagangan, Kepala Badan Pangan Nasional dan beberapa stakeholder terkait pada Jum’at (16/12)

Menteri Perdagangan Zulkifli Hasan mengatakan jumlah beras yang akan diimpor adalah sebanyak 500.000 ton yang akan masuk secara bertahap sampai dengan Februari atau sebelum panen raya.

“Sebenarnya tidak ada yang ingin impor jika stoknya cukup, tetapi beberapa bulan terakhir harga beras meroket dan stok BULOG untuk Operasi Pasar makin berkurang sehingga dibutuhkan segera stok dari luar negeri untuk meredam kenaikan harga beras ini” kata Zulkifli Hasan

Kepala Badan Pangan Nasional Arief Prasetyo Adi menyampaikan bahwa impor beras ini bukan keinginan BULOG melainkan hasil keputusan 2 kali Rakortas dalam rangka penambahan stok cadangan beras pemerintah guna menjaga stabilitas harga di pasaran.

“Jika diperlukan Beras impor ini akan digelontorkan dalam rangka menghadapi Natal dan Tahun Baru sehingga tidak ada gejolak harga” kata Arief.

Selanjutnya Budi Waseso menambahkan sampai dengan akhir Bulan Desember 2022 ini akan masuk beras impor sebanyak 200.000 ton untuk menambah cadangan beras pemerintah ke 14 titik pelabuhan di Indonesia yaitu Pelabuhan Malahayati dan Lhokseumawe (Aceh), Belawan (Medan), Dumai (Riau), Teluk Bayur (Padang), Boom Baru (Palembang), Panjang (Lampung), Tanjung Priok (Jakarta), Merak (Banten), Tanjung Perak (Surabaya), Tenau (Kupang), kemudian sisanya akan direalisasikan tahun depan sampai dengan sebelum panen raya.

“Alhamdulillah hari ini BULOG mendapat tambahan stok Cadangan Beras Pemerintah sebanyak 10.000 ton untuk kapal impor perdana dari Vietnam yang baru tiba (5.000 ton di tanjung priok dan 5.000 ton di Merak) dan secara terus menerus akan terus bertambah karena sudah banyak kapal impor dari Vietnam, Thailand, Pakistan dan Myanmar yang sudah antri akan bersandar”, kata Budi Waseso.

Kebijakan pengadaan beras dari luar negeri semata-mata untuk memperkuat cadangan beras nasional. Kebijakan yang diambil ini tidak akan mengganggu beras petani karena hanya dipergunakan pada kondisi tertentu. Seperti penanggulangan bencana, intervensi harga jika diperlukan, dan beberapa kegiatan pemerintah lainnya.(Blg-22)
