ZONASATUNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Tembok Yajuj dan Majuj berlapis besi dan tembaga , dan terletak di antara dua gunung seperti disebutkan beberapa sumber termasuk yang ditulis dalam Al-Quran dan dikaitkan dengan akhir zaman dan kiamat. Dan ada wilayah di Rusia yang mempunyai ciri-ciri Tembok Yajuj dan Majuj.

Namun terlepas dari itu semua berdasarkan perspektif sains ada sebuah lokasi yang mempunyai ciri-ciri yang mendekati seperti yang disebutkan di atas.

Lokasi ini adalah, di Pegunungan Greater Caucasus, di daerah sempit di antara dua bukit Dariel, sebuah bukit curam yang membentang dari Laut Hitam ke Laut Qazwain, panjangnya 1.200 km dengan ketinggian 3.950 kaki.

Lokasi inilah temuan yang dirasa paling kuat, berada di kawasan utara Georgia dan sebelah selatan Rusia.

Tepatnya, berada di Pegunungan Kaukasus yang ada di bagian tengah Greater Caucasus Mountains. Para ilmuwan mendefinisikan, persisnya posisi tembok Zulkarnain ini berada di kaki Gunung Kazbek.

Ada satu timbunan besar berupa tembok yang dibuat dari besi bercampur tembaga di Bukit Qawqaz atau Pegunungan Kaukasus. Bendungan berupa dinding ini ada di kawasan yang cukup sempit antara dua bukit Darial (Dariel).

Kawasan itu dikenali sebagai Lorong Dariel atau Daryal (Dariel Pass) yang ketinggiannya mencapai 3,950 kaki atau 1.204 meter dari permukaan laut.

Kedudukannya ini dekat dengan Sungai Terek. Untuk menuju ke lorong tersebut, ada satu jalan yang mengarah ke sana. Lorong ini dibuat oleh tentara Georgia dan dipugar kembali oleh Rusia tahun 1850-an.

Sejak dahulu, Lorong Dariel dikenal untuk tujuan menjelajah. Lorong ini juga dikenal dengan sebutan Gerbang Alan atau Gerbang Caucasia. Ada juga yang menyebutnya dengan Gerbang Iberia, hingga saat ini keberadaan kandungan mineral di lokasi ini masih dijaga ketat oleh pemerintah Georgia dan Rusia.
