GMPPK Sebut BBM Ramah Lingkungan Solusi Masa Depan

ZONASATUNEWS.COM, JAKARTA–Gerakan Mahasiswa dan Pemuda Pejuang Keadilan (GMPPK) menggelar diskusi daring pada kamis (17/9/2020). Tema yang diangkat “Indonesia Menuju BBM Ramah Lingkungan”.

Ketua GMPPK, Usman menyebut, “Acara diskusi ini adalah inisiatif dari organisasinya untuk mencoba membaca peluang dan harapan BBM ramah lingkungan di Indonesia.”

Sebelumnya Pertamina merencanakan pengahapusan BBM jenis pertalite dan premium pada rapat dengar pendapat (RDP) antara PT Pertamina dan Komisi VII DPR RI, senin (31/8/2020).

Langkah ini mengacu pada ketentuan dalam Peraturan Menteri Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan No 20 Tahun 2019 yang mensyaratkan standar minimal RON/Oktan 91.

Diketahui dua jenis BBM Pertamina yang memiliki RON di bawah 91 yakni Premium (RON 88) dan Pertalite (RON 90).

Usai diskusi Usman menyebut, “Rencana Pertamina dalam pengahpusan pertalite-premium semestinya kita dukung, mengingat rencana ini bukan semata tentang buseness oriented belaka, melainkan ada hal penting yang lebih besar yakni menjaga lingkungan agar tetap ramah,” tambahnya.

“Diskusi ini memberikan pandangan baru pada kita, setelah beragam opini disampaikan oleh kawan-kawan tadi di diskusi zoom, kemudian mengerucut bahwa alam kita harus dijaga, karena Indonesia tidak hanya 10-20tahun saja, melainkan akan terus berlangsung tentunya dengan lingkungan yang sehat dan ramah, karena bbm ramah lingkungan ini solusi untuk masa depan,” tutupnya pada acara diskusi tersebut.
