Jakarta, ZONASATU News — Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) Ignasius Jonan menjajal sepeda motor listrik karya anak bangsa yang dinamai Garansindo Electric Scooter ITS (GESITS) di Kementerian ESDM pada pagi ini, Kamis (19/10).

Menurut Jonan, sepeda motor listrik itu menjadi bukti bahwa anak bangsa memiliki peran yang besar terhadap sektor energi. Selain itu, motor ini sejalan dengan misi pemerintah untuk mengejar target kendaraan yang ramah lingkungan dan kemandirian energi di saat yang bersamaan.

“Oke ini. Lumayan kalau prototype-nya saja sudah begini,” ujar Jonan sambil mengendarai motor listrik GESITS.

Sementara soal bahan baku motor listrik ini, Jonan memastikan, tak akan membebani permintaan listrik dari masyarakat kepada PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) atau PLN. Sebab, bahan baku listrik yang berasal dari batubara, tenaga air, panas bumi, seluruhnya masih melimpah di dalam negeri.

Hanya saja, Jonan berharap agar harga jual sepeda motor listrik ini bisa bersaing dengan sepeda motor yang menggunakan bahan bakar minyak (BBM). Tujuannya, agar ampuh menarik minat masyarakat.

“Kalau harga bisa bersaing, pasti bisa (berhadapan dengan motor biasa),” kata Jonan.

Selain itu, Jonan meminta ke Direktur Utama PLN Sofyan Basir agar menyediakan pasokan listrik, termasuk memperbanyak stasiun pengisian ulang listrik. Begitu pula ke PT Pertamina (Persero) agar Stasiun Pengisian Bahan Bakar Umum (SPBU) bisa dijadikan titik pengisian baterai listrik.

“Maunya agar Dirut PLN siapkan stasiun isi ulangnya di banyak tempat atau bahkan stasiunnya dibuat di SPBU Pertamina juga bisa. Atau bisa di tempat-tempat lain,” tutur Jonan.

GESITS merupakan motor listrik berjenis skuter yang dibuat oleh Garasindo Group dan risetnya ditangani kelompok mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya (ITS). Namun, produksinya turut menggandeng PT Wijaya Karya Konstruksi (Wikon).

Motor listrik itu memiliki daya sebesar 5 kilowatt (kw) dengan torsi mencapai 15 Nm pada 3000 rpm. Sementara untuk baterainya berjenis lithium-ion yang dibuat dari komponen dalam negeri.

Dari sisi performa, dalam satu kali isi ulang baterai, GESITS dapat digunakan untuk jarak tempuh mulai dari 70 kilometer per jam hingga maksimal 100 km per jam. Sedangkan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk isi ulang selama empat jam.

Sementara, CEO Garansindo Group Muhammad Al Abdulah mengatakan, perusahaannya tak memerlukan insentif dari pemerintah.

“Tanpa insentif, kami optimistis GESITS mampu diterima dan bersaing di pasar bebas,” ujar Al.

Namun, ia berharap BUMN ikut ambil peran dalam mengembangkan sistem kendaraan listrik. Salah satunya PLN agar menambah kapasitas penyediaan energi listrik hingga memperbanyak titik-titik pengisian ulang baterai listrik.

Ia juga berharap seluruh SPBU Pertamina bisa ikut menjadi tempat isi ulang baterai listrik, meski saat ini sudah ada beberapa titik yang menyediakan. Sehingga, penukaran baterai lebih cepat dan murah.

“Bayangkan bila seluruh jaringan SPBU yang tersebar di Indonesia ikut menyediakan fasilitas penukaran baterai. Bila konsep ini terwujud, maka efisiensi menjadi nyata, sekaligus polemik tentang jarak tempuh dan waktu penggunaan motor listrik tidak lagi beralasan,” terangnya. (gir)
