Lama Tak Terdengar, Apa Kabar Proton Indonesia?

Zonasatu News– Jalanan terjal rupanya harus ditempuh Proton Edar Indonesia (PEI), agen pemegang merek Proton di Tanah Air. Bagaimana tidak, sejak meluncurkan Proton Iriz pada awal tahun ini, nama Proton seakan kembali ditelan bumi.

Hari ini, Jumat, 27 Oktober 2017, VIVA.co.id menyempatkan diri untuk menyambangi markas PEI yang berada di kawasan Pondok Indah, Jakarta Selatan. Di dalam markas yang juga menjadi diler tersebut, tampak beberapa mobil andalan Proton dipajang mulai dari Iriz, Exora, Saga hingga Satria Neo.

Meski terkesan sedikit sepi namun rutinitas masih terlihat. Tampak seorang sales mencoba menjelaskan produk ke beberapa konsumen yang datang. Tapi dalam ruangan memang tak banyak pegawai yang mejeng di lobi, bahkan terkesan kosong.

Untuk bagian servis juga masih tampak beberapa konsumen yang menunggu kendaraannya selesai dikerjakan. Namun tak ada antrean seperti di diler-diler merek lainnya. “Iya mas lagi nunggu servis dan enggak perlu antre,” kata seorang konsumen.
Meski terlihat tiarap, namun menurut Rully Septiadi, Head of Marketing PT Proton Edar Indonesia, pihaknya kini tengah menghimpun kekuatan untuk tahun depan. Terlebih setelah Proton kini sahamnya dikuasai Geely, perusahaan otomotif asal China.

“Untuk total besar investasi saya belum tahu. Tapi untuk target penjualan tahun depan akan dinaikkan berlipat-lipat. Dengan target yang besar tentu secara otomatis segala sesuatunya tentu akan menyesuaikan mulai dari produk hingga after sales termasuk jumlah diler,” kata Rully.

Saat disinggung mengenai penjualan Proton sepanjang tahun 2017 ini, Rully mengatakan bahwa tumpuan mereka pada Iriz meski ia enggan menyebutkan detailnya. “Kami saat ini memang fokus pada Proton Iriz,” kata Rully.

Sebagai catatan, Proton Iriz yang dijual di Indonesia merupakan tipe standarnya. Namun, masih menurut Rully, tak menutup kemungkinan akan segera didatangkan versi yang lebih mewahnya ke Tanah Air.(sumber VIVA)
