UEA bahkan telah melangkah lebih jauh dalam mempromosikan sikap toleransi beragama. Di Spanyol pemerintah UEA mendirikan Foundation for Islamic Culture and Religion Tolerance (FICRT), atau Yayasan Untuk Kebudayaan Islam dan Toleransi Beragama.

Dalam kesempatan bertemu dengan Presiden Foundation for Islamic Culture and Religion Tolerance (FICRT) dikantornya, Dubes Muhammad Muhammad Najib mengatakan bahwa Yayasan ini bergerak dalam mempromosikan toleransi beragama, yang didirikan oleh Uni Emat Arab berkaitan dengan bagaimana membangun toleransi dan mengenalkna Islam moderat di Spanyol.

Lembaga ini sudah banyak menjalin kerjasama dengan lembaga pendidikan, tokoh agama, khususnya tokoh Katolik dan Yahudi di Spanyol.

“Lebaga ini mirip dengan mimpi saya, dalam mengenalkna Islam yang Rahmatan lil Alamin di Spanyol. Dan beliau juga sudah mengetahui aktivitas Islam di Indonesia yang moderat, toleran dan tertarik dengan dialog interfaith. Semoga kerjasama ini bermanfaat bagi kita umat Islam maupun masyarkat Spanyol secara keseluruhan,” kata Dubes Muhammad Najib.

Jumah Alkhabi mengatakan, Yayasan ini untuk (mempromosikan) budaya Islam dan toleransi beragama, yang mempromsikan toleransi, hidup berdampingan dan dialog lintas agama. Juga ditambah memberikan pelajaran bahasa Arab dan budayanya, dengan melakukan seminar, acara kebudayaan, untuk mempertemukan nilai universal tiga agama (Islam, Kristen dan Yahudi).

Yayasan ini juga mempromosikan nilai persaudaraan kemanusiaan dan menjalankan poin-poin piagam persaudaraan dan kemanusiaan yang ditanda-tangani oleh Paus Fransiskus dan Dr Ahmed El Tayeb di ABu Dhabi 4 Februari 2019.

“Poin perjanjian tersebut untuk mempromosikan nilai toleransi, hidup berdampingan, dan kesetaraan damai, dan juga mempromosikan kebaikan dari agama-agama yang berbeda,” kata Jumah.

“Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada yang terhormat Duta Besar (Indonesia) atas kunjungannya ke yayasan ini, dan kami siap untuk kolaborasi dengan bapak Duta Besar dan KBRI dalam hal kebudayaan dan perbedaan, dimana kita dapat menemukan kebersamaan seperti mempromosikan budaya Indonesia disini.”

“Berkolaborasi dengan yayasan kami dimana kita dapat sama-sama mendukung publik dan hal-hal umum lainnya. Terima kasih atas kedatangannya. Saya berharap kedepan ada kolaborasi antara KBRI dan yayasan kami,” kata Jumah Alkhabi.
