ZONASATUNEWS.COM, MADRID – Duta Besar Indonesia untuk Kerajaan Spanyol dan UNWTO, Dr Muhammad Najib mendampingi Menteri Desa, Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal dan Transmigrasi, Abdul Halim Iskandar, mengunjungi desa terpencil di Spanyol atas undangan PBB.

Dubes Najib meneranggkan, desa terpencil itu berjarak sekitar 70 Km dari kota Bilbo di Propinsi Bas, di wilayah utara negara Spanyol. Propinsi Bas sendiri bisa dijangkau perjalanan darat sekitar 4-5 jam dari Madrid.

Di desa itu ada sebuah biara yang sangat menarik. Biara ini menarik karena faktor alam yang indah, bukit batu dan disela-sela ada pepohonan hija, berwarna-warni.

“Ini Salah satu identitas etnis Bas di Spanyol. Mereka merasa berbeda dengan etnis-etnis di Propinsi lain. Mereka merasa punya bahasa sendiri yang berbeda dengan bahasa Spanyol. Dimasa Franko, otoritas militeristik di Spanyol dimasa lalu, mereka dilarang menampilkan identitasnya, karena ada semangat penyeragaman. Khusus di daerah ini mereka mendapatkan kelonggaran, sehingga mereka bertahan dan dapat mengembangkan identitasnya, bahasanya, dan mengajarkannya di sekolah-sekolah disekitar wilayah ini. Sekarang ini mereka mendapatkan kelonggaran dan kebebasan lebih besaar lagi,” kata Dubes Najib disel-sela aktivitas menemani Menteri Desa, Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal dan Transmigrasi RI, Abdul Halim iskandar.

Menurut Dubes Najib, wilayah ini dalam beberapa puluh tahun terakhir paling tidak bersahabat dengan pemerintah pusat di Madrid. Mereka merasa paling tidak diperhatikan. Wilayahnya tertinggal. Ekonominya juga tertinggal.

Tetapi akhir-akhir ini pemerintah berhasil mengembangkan ekonomi masyarakat di Propinsi bas ini, dan lingkungannya menjadi tertata baik, lebih hijau, infrastruktur dibangun, sehingga dalam beberapa bula ini Dubes Najib mendapat kesan positip dari para Dubes di Madrid tentang penataan kota ini.

“Sekarang kota ini tidak berbeda jauh dengan kota-kota besar di Spanyol. bahkan terlihat lebih menarik. Nah, Pak Menteri Desa diundang kesini oleh PBB (UN) untuk berbagi pengaalaman, berbagi visi, bagaimana membangun desa agar lebih maju dan mandiri sesuai dengan visi SDGs. Karena itu judulnya bagaimana membangun desa sesuai dengan SDGs,” jelas Dubes Najib

Menteri Desa, Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal dan Transmigrasi, Abdul Halim Iskandar memaparkan bagaimana membangun desa di Indonesia. Pemaparan didepan perwakilan UN dan masyarakat itu snagat menarik. Bagaimana membangun desa sembari mempertahankan budaya dan kearifan lokalnya. Namun dlaam waktu yang bersamaan membangun desa yang maju, dan modern sesuai visi SDGs.

Dubes Najib merasa gembira sekali, karena saat mereka berbagi cerita, berbagi visi, dan sepakat menjalin kolaborasi, nampak bahwa ternyata Indonesia itu jauh lebih maju. Indonesia sudah jauh mampu mengembangkan local wisdom.

“Hanya saja memang kita kurang mempromosikan. Dalam bahasa mereka kita (indonesia) kurang spoke-out. Kurang berbicara di forum-forum internasional. Mereka ingin sekali belajar banyak dari Indonesia. Karena itu kami sedang memediasi bagaimana dibangun sister village (desa kembar). Saling menunjungi, berbagai cerita, dan berbagi pengalaman.,” jelas Dubes Najib.

Lebih jauh Dubes Najib mengatakan bahwa Indonesia juga sudah mampu, bagaimana desa-desa Indonesia sudah bisa dipantau secara online dari Jakarta. Perkembangannya, pertumbuhannya, dan seterusnya. Menurut saya ini modal besar. Dan Indonesia bisa mendapat penghargaan PBB melalui UNDP, apabila program ini terus kita rawat, kita lanjutkan, dan dalam waktu bersamaan di komunkasikan ke komunitas-komunitas internasional yang mereka tidak tahu.

“Karena itu saya bergembira sekali dan sekaligus bangga dengan Indonesia, dan kita bisa berbagi mimpi, berbagi cerita, untuk maju bersama, untuk membanun bangsa dan negara dari desa. Mohon doa dan dukungannya,” pungkas Dubes Najib.
