ZONASATUNEWS.COM, MADRID – Dubes Indonesia untuk Spanyol, Dr Muhammad Najib menghadiri peringatan Hari Solidaritas Palestina di Madrid, memenuhi undangan dari Dubes Palestina di Spanyol Husni Abdul Wahid.

“Acara malam ini adalah memperingati Hari Solidaritas Palestina. Ada 2 pejabat penting Palestina yang hadir di kota Madrid. yang pertama adalah pimpinan parlemen, yang kedua adalah salah seorang menteri,” kata Dubes Muhammad Najib dalam channel youtube Wisma Duta RI Madrdid.

Dubes Najib menyatakan, kedatangan kedua pejabat penting Palestina itu menunjukkan betapa pentingnya Madrid. Betapa pentingnya negara Spanyol bagi bangsa Palestina.

Karena disinilah perjanjian Two State Solution diambil. Berkat mediasi para pejabat Spanyol, maka Two State Solution (solusi dua negara) itu terwujud. Meskipun dalam implementasinya tertunda-tunda, dan masih banyak tantangan, tapi itulah perjuangan.

“Karena itu malam ini saya upayakan untuk hadir sebagai wakil Indonesia untuk menunjukkan betapa seriusnya Indonesia dalam mendukung kemerdekaan Palestina. Saya selalu menggunakan kata-kata daiman wa abadan (selalu dan selamanya),” ungkap Dubes Najib.

Dubes Palestina menyampaikan terima kasih Dubes Najib, sekaligus menitipkan salam kepada rakyat Indonesia yang tidak pernah berubah, tetap konsisten membela Palestina, mendukung kemerdekaan Palestina tanpa pretensi, tanpa kalkulasi.

Palestina ini adalah satu-satunya negara yang hadir dalam Konferensi Asia Afrika di Bandung tahun 1955 yang diadakan Presiden Sukarno, yang hingga kini belum merdeka.

“Kita tentu berharap dalam waktu yang tidak lama lagi Palestina akan merdeka seperti negara-negara Asia Afrika yang lainnya. Mohon doanya, mohon dukungannya. Dan sekali lagi kami sampaikaan salam dari bapak Dubes Palestina Husni Abdul Wahid kepada seluruh rakyat Indonesia,” pungkas Dubes Najib.
