Jakarta, — Menteri Agama (Menag) Fachrul Razi mengatakan dirinya menjadi orang yang terdepan memperjuangkan perpanjangan Surat Keterangan Terdaftar (SKT) Front Pembela Islam (FPI) di Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri).
Dia mengaku memperjuangkan itu dalam pembahasan bersama Mendagri Tito Karnavian dan Menko Polhukam Mahfud MD.
“Tadi ngomong FPI, saya mengatakan bahwa saya yang pertama mendorong FPI untuk bisa diberikan izin lagi,” kata Fachrul dalam pidato pembukaan Dialog Tokoh/Pimpinan Ormas Islam Tingkat Nasional di Hotel Ardyaduta, Jakarta, Rabu (27/11), seperti dikutip CNN Indonesia
Ia memang mengakui sempat ingin tak memberi rekomendasi perpanjangan izin FPI di Kemendagri. Sebab, ormas itu lantang mengkritik Pancasila dan suka melanggar hukum.
Namun, Fachrul mengaku sudah berubah pikiran karena FPI sudah membuat perjanjian dengan Kemenag untuk menerima Pancasila dan NKRI.
“Sekarang mereka sudah secara resmi membuat hitam putih di atas materai bahwa ‘kami (FPI) tidak akan meragukan Pancasila dan kami setia kepada Republik Indonesia’, dan kedua tidak akan melanggar hukum lagi,” katanya.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Fachrul juga membahas Reuni Akbar 212. Mantan Wakil Panglima TNI itu mengatakan pemerintah mempersilakan acara tersebut digelar sebagai bentuk kebebasan berpendapat.
“Kalau disampaikan dengan damai dan polisi sudah mengizinkan, tidak ada tahapan lain buat kita untuk menolaknya,” tutur dia.
Sebelumnya, izin SKT FPI di Kemendagri habis pada 20 Juni 2019. FPI sudah mengajukan perpanjangan, tetapi dikembalikan oleh Kemendagri lantaran belum lengkap, salah satunya rekomendasi dari Kemenag.
“Laporan Dirjen kami dari 20 persyaratan baru diserahkan 10 persyaratan, kan kami harus menunggu dulu dong, menunggu dulu persyaratan lengkap,” kata Mendagri Tjahjo di Istana Kepresidenan Bogor, Jawa Barat, Senin (8/7).
Juru Bicara FPI Slamet Maarif mengklaim pihaknya dipersulit Kemenag dalam membuat SKT di Kemendagri. Menurutnya, Kemenag menyoroti kalimat “khilafah nubuwah” dalam anggaran dasar/anggaran rumah tangga (AD/ART) FPI.
