Dia, tak bisa menjaga dan mempertahankan visi, ideologi, dan misi perubahan. Dia, tak mampu mempertahankan adagium ‘timbul tenggelam bersama rakyat’. Dia, sama sekali tak bisa menjaga dan mempertahankan wibawa diri dihadapan kaumnya, bangsanya, negaranya, bagaimana dia bisa dipercaya mempertahankan negara ?

Dia, tak bisa menjaga perasan barisan emak-emak. Dia, tak mampu mempertahankan spirit ‘melawan’ demi perubahan bangsa yang diinginkannya.

Dia, tak mampu menjaga nyawa pendukungnya, yang tersungkur, jatuh dan tewas untuk mempertahankan dan membela dirinya. Dia, tak mampu memberi orasi, menguatkan agitasi saat peristiwa 21-22 Mei, kecuali menjenguk pendukungnya yang telah menjadi korban keganasan rezim zalim.

Dia, tak sanggup untuk tetap mendongak dan menepuk dada, didepan orang yang dituding telah mencuri suaranya. Dia, tak bisa mempertahankan harga diri yang telah menyungkurkan tubuh bersujud karena merasa telah memenangkan pertandingan, meskipun wasit belum mengumumkan keputusan.

Dia, yang berubah tertunduk setelah dihidangkan nasi goreng. Dia, yang tak lagi menjadi macan Asia, ksatria yang teguh dengan prinsip.

Akhirnya, dia kedodoran, benteng pertahanannya melemah, dia menyerah kalah dan mengumumkan kekalahan secara terbuka, dan menerima takdir jadi pembantu atas orang yang telah mengalahkannya.

Inilah, figur yang akan mempertahankan kekuasan dari kritikan rakyatnya, bukan dari ancaman musuh. Inilah figur, yang akan ditaruh di garis depan berhadap hadapan dengan rakyat yang dahulu mendukungnya.

Sudahlah Jenderal, Anda tak memiliki sisa wibawa sebagai seorang prajurit apalagi meninggalkan Legacy sebagai Jenderal. Dimata kami, Kolonel yang dicopot jabatannya karena bertanggungjawab atas aktivitas istri, lebih mulia ketimbang Anda.

Tidak perlu menyesal, tidak perlu menghiba, busungkan saja dada Anda. Anda, tak perlu ragu menjadi corong penguasa, menjadi centeng kekusaan untuk berhadapan dengan rakyat. Kami, telah siap dan tak akan berhenti untuk terus mengkritik kekuasan zalim, meskipun Anda ditunjuk sebagai satpamnya.

Kami tidak kaget dengan kabar ini, sebagaimana Anda juga telah lama membahas ini sebagai kompensasi legitimasi yang Anda berikan. Kami, bukan loyalis partai Anda, yang akan tetap ngampret meskipun kesalahan terbuka Anda lakukan.

Kami juga bukan cebong rezim, yang akan terus menjadi penjilat kekuasan meskipun terus dihimpit kesulitan hidup karena gagalnya tata kelola pemerintahah.

Kami adalah rakyat merdeka, kami adalah umat Islam, umatnya Rasululah SAW, yang hanya akan taat jika kekuasan menaati Allah SWT. Sebaliknya, kami akan terus pukul sendi-sendi kekuasan rezim, sampai terlepas tulang berulangnya, ketika mereka bertindak zalim dan abai pada urusan umat.

Tidak perlu ragu, Anda bisa menyerang dan mempertahankan rezim dari amukan rakyat. Tentu saja, jika Anda telah siap binasa bersama rezim zalim nan durjana.
