Tingginya Harga Energi Seret Turun Perekonomian Bangsa

Jakarta, zonasatu – Anggota Komisi VI Bambang Haryo mengaku prihatin dengan kondisi negara saat ini, dimana kondisi ekonomi yang menurutnya kian menunjukan penurunan.

Kebijakan pemerintah disinyalir menjadi salah satu triger penurunan ekonomi Indonesia saat ini. Salah satunya kata Bambang, dengan naiknya harga energi yang menggerus perekonomian.

“Secara rill di lapangan daya beli menurun. Ini akibat dari policy atau kebijakan pemerintah terutama yang pertama, dan yang paling utama adalah kenaikan harga energi yang ada di Indonesia, yang menggerus perekonomian kita adalah BBM. Yang dulunya mendapatkan subsidi sekarang tidak mendapatkan subsidi,” terang Bambang di Kompleks Parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta, Selasa (17/10/2017).

Harga energi saat ini tidaklah murah. Sebagai contoh permasalahan listrik juga menjadi catatan Bambang, dimana subsidi listrik telah dihapus oleh pemerintah.

Ketika zaman pemerintahan BJ Habibie, kata Bambang melanjutkan, IMF mendorong untuk menaikan energi, baik itu BBM ataupun listrik, dan subsidinya dihilangkan. Tapi saat itu Habibie menolaknya karena menginginkan energi tetap murah.

“Karena energi dampaknya ke multiplier ekonomi kita. Karena semua produksi industri semuanya ditentukan oleh energi, dimana kalau energi mahal, di industrinya akan terjadi peningkatan biaya,” terangnya.

Sehingga menurut Bambang, apabila harga energi yang mahal tersebut berdampak pada penurunan daya beli masyarakat, maka munculah pelemahan ekonomi.(ZS)
