BULOG Catat Sejarah, Penyaluran Beras Operasi Pasar Tembus 1,2 Juta Ton

ZONASATUNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Perum BULOG mencatat untuk pertama kalinya dalam sejarah menggelontorkan beras sebanyak 1,2 juta ton dalam operasi pasar dimana kini bernama Ketersediaan Pasokan dan Stabilisasi Harga (KPSH) yang berlangsung secara nonstop sejak Januari hingga saat ini sebagai upaya meredam gejolak harga beras di tanah air.

“Angka ini merupakah jumlah penyaluran Operasi Pasar beras terbesar sepanjang sejarah berdirinya BULOG. Sesuai penugasan negara dan dalam kerangka stabilisasi ekonomi yang lebih luas, BULOG akan terus menggelar operasi pasar secara masif dengan adanya tambahan stok dari beras impor,” kata Dirut Perum BULOG Budi Waseso di Jakarta, Kamis (22/12).

Budi Waseso juga menegaskan, pihaknya sudah mengeluarkan instruksi ke seluruh jajaran bahwa program KPSH harus berjalan lancar sepanjang tahun. Untuk itu masyarakat tidak perlu khawatir, karena BULOG menjamin ketersediaan beras di masyarakat dengan harga terjangkau walau di pasaran ada sedikit kenaikan harga.

“Kami melakukan pemantauan secara terus menerus di tengah situasi sekarang dan kami akan terus membanjiri pasar dengan kekuatan stok CBP saat ini dimana sudah ada tambahan dari beras impor. Penyaluran Operasi Pasar yang dilakukan BULOG akan terus bertambah jumlahnya sampai dengan akhir tahun,” kata Budi Waseso.

Kebijakan Pemerintah untuk mengimpor beras sebesar 500 ribu ton melalui Perum BULOG dipastikan memberikan dampak untuk menahan laju kenaikan harga beras. Dengan adanya impor beras dan pasokan CBP terpenuhi, maka harga beras di pasaran dipastikan akan mengalami penurunan.

“Psikologisnya begitu kita datangkan impor ada kepastian barang, dan ketika pasar sudah mengetahui BULOG punya barang maka sangat diyakini harga akan bisa terkendali,” kata Budi Waseso.

Terkait tambahan beras impor ini Budi Waseso kembali menegaskan bahwa kebijakan ini semata-mata untuk memperkuat cadangan beras nasional. Tentunya kebijakan yang diambil ini tidak akan mengganggu petani yang baru akan panen tiga bulan lagi pada akhir Februari atau awal Maret nanti karena kebutuhan stok CBP yang ditugaskan kepada BULOG cukup besar sekitar 1 – 1,5 juta ton.

“Disamping beras impor masuk, kami juga masih menyerap beras Petani dalam negeri sampai dengan saat ini. Kemudian yang perlu kita perhatikan juga adalah stabilitas harga beras di masyarakat, untuk itu kami akan upayakan semaksimal mungkin pelaksanaan program stabilisasi tersebut tanpa ada unsur kepentingan apapun kecuali kepentingan rakyat, terlebih ditengah situasi seperti sekarang”, tambah Budi Waseso.

BULOG juga terus berkoordinasi dengan pemerintah pusat maupun daerah guna menjaga harga beras di tingkat konsumen tetap stabil atau tidak mengalami lonjakan. Kegiatan Operasi Pasar yang dilakukan sepanjang tahun oleh BULOG ini terbukti efektif menjaga stabilitas harga beras di tingkat konsumen. (blg-24)
