Ada kisah menarik yang diungkap oleh Drs. Ramadhan Pohan, MIS saat diskusi publik yang diinisiasi oleh Barisan Emak-Emak Milenia Indonesia dalam rangka Hari Ibu pada Kamis (22/12) di Gedung Joeang 45, Jakarta.

Bang Rampo —sapaan akrab beliau, menyajikan dua kisah tentang kualitas pendidikan dari seorang ibu kepada anaknya. Dalam momen itu beliau membagikan cerita tentang Anies Baswedan dan gedebog (batang pohon) pisang.

Satu ketika Anies kecil pamit bermain kepada sang ibunda, Prof. Dr. Hj. Aliyah Rasyid Baswedan, M.Pd. Saat itu ia menceritakan dengan detail apa saja kegiatan yang akan dilakukan bersama rekan-rekannya.

Singkatnya, Anies akan menyusuri sungai bersama kawan-kawan, berenang menggunakan gedebog pisang. Agendanya akan begini dan begitu. Sehingga waktu yang diperlukan kemungkinan hingga tiba sore hari.

Ketika para ibu panik mencari buah hatinya karena tidak berpamitan, ibunda Anies tampak tenang karena sudah diberitahu rundown acaranya. Kualitas Anies dalam memberikan penjelasan sudah tampak menonjol sejak belia.

Mantan Anggota Komisi I DPR RI periode 2009-2014 dari Partai Demokrat itu melanjutkan kisahnya. Sekali waktu di rumah Anies kedatangan tamu. Namun saat itu tidak ada satupun sosok orang tua yang ada di rumah.

Lalu Anies kecil muncul menyambut sang tamu dengan penuh hormat layaknya orang dewasa. Dilayaninya tamu itu dengan suguhan ala kadarnya. Ia pun mengkonfirmasi adakah pesan yang ingin dititipkan kepada orang tuanya.

Beberapa hari setelah itu sang tamu bertanya kepada Prof. Aliyah Rasyid terkait bagaimana cara beliau mendidik anak-anaknya. Sebab tamu itu kagum melihat hasil pendidikan dalam keluarganya. Tepatlah pepatah Arab berikut ini:

“Al-ummu madrasatul ula. Idza adadtaha adadta syaban thayyibal araq.”
Artinya: Ibu adalah madrasah (sekolah) pertama bagi anaknya. Jika engkau persiapkan ia dengan baik, maka sama halnya engkau persiapkan bangsa yang baik pokok pangkalnya.

Selamat Hari Ibu untuk ibu terbaik yang pernah ada dan di manapun berada.
